Eye Exams services offered in Boca Park, Las Vegas, NV

Eyes are more than just a source of sight, they're an important part of your overall health. A comprehensive eye exam can help detect eye problems at their earliest, and most treatable stage. An eye exam allows your optometrist to detect and analyze any vision changes, as well as provide valuable tips on caring for your eyes. At Optic Gallery, we focus on the patient and not just the prescription, and are committed to providing the best treatment for you and your family.

Eye Exams Q & A

When should I schedule an eye exam?

If you experience any of these symptoms, we encourage you to schedule an appointment immediately:

  • Vision changes

  • Dry eyes

  • Eye strain

  • Eye redness

  • Itchy, watery eyes

  • Flashes or floaters

What should I bring to my eye exam?

If you wear contact lenses or glasses, bring them with you to your eye exam. Your optometrist will want to make sure the prescription is the best one for you. You will also want to bring your ID, insurance card, and a list of medications.

Will my eyes be dilated?

Your optometrist may request your eyes be dilated if you have any signs of eye disease or complications. You may feel more comfortable having someone drive you home from your appointment after being dilated.

You may experience light sensitivity and difficulty seeing up close. You may also opt for our Eye Wellness OCT Retinal Scan and our Digital Retinal Photography. This test has no lasting side effects and typically takes less than 3 minutes to perform. Digital Retinal Photography will provide a documented snapshot of the inside of your eye which may be useful to your optometrist if you begin to experience vision changes.
